If you read the NY Daily News story it states that Troy's friend was shot then went downstairs and collapsed. So it's a possibility that Troy Ave's friend was not shot on that floor as the video makes it seem but instead came from upstairs like Troy did.

Which adds to my believe that he was the one the was running next to troy. then Troy was shooting and possible hit him
