The above song rings true to NYC to the core. He's not your joey badass lyrically, he's not the second coming of the 50 Cent thug rap. But his appeal to me is he's a regular NY nikka. Reminds of a cool nikka from the neighborhood.
Repping Troy Ave Crown Heights, he's a fresh air of that organic sound. Not too polished but not too grit.
I checked his album and his mixtapes, Bricks in my Backpack
IMO it's not the best, and I sense a lot of biting/"inspiration" from the Max B style and Camron/Mase
