Troy is very uninspiring that got caught lying numerous times about his street history. Plus Cole can hold down a show all by himself and still have a more dedicated fanbase. Hell, he outdone Kanye last year and he still going strong.

Having a dedicated fanbase >> having an early 00s image and make a poor impersonation of it.

Who caresssssss nikka nobody actually thinks hes some kingpin. Just like Ross but I bet the nikka makes better music than your neighborhood OG.

Troy is barely in the game, HES NOT EVEN SIGNED and you judging him against a mainstream rapper with a rocnation machine behind him 5 years deep:what:

Troy is the Max B lane with mainstream spins. Enjoy some fresh New York music and stop being so constipated breh:dj2:

Im talking about the black youth at large.

Only on the internet do i see the support for rappers like kendrick, wiz, and them other hipsters.

Outside in real life people listen to people like Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and French Montana. but people in this thread acting like street rap is dead. Outside of industry plants, the street rap scene dictates who is the next hot rapper.

How is Kendrick a hipster? Son is from Compton and backed by real street cats. Just cos he's a regular cat who doesn't act super hard how does that make him a hipster? He's still rapping from the perspective of the streets, he just isn't talking shyt to enlarge his image like a Ross or Troy.

How can you listen to the songs below and say duke isn't from the streets?

It comes from black people. We are everywhere. Being poor or a street nikka does not make you more black.
No shyt there are black people everywhere...and most of them are in the hood and you're advocating cutting off the relevance they have to a culture they created simply because you ain't one of em:camby:fukk outta here

I travel between central Florida and Las Vegas. Every black person I know under 25 listens to weirdo rap. Guys like french and trappers are club only type music. Street rappers might as well be the same person. They have no loyal fan bases. Cole and gambino will eat longer than any street rapper.

Negative.

The very fact that trap rap is still a hot flame right now directly contradicts what youre saying. Youre out of touch and the very garbage you said in this thread shows underneath your skirt:camby:

His voice gets annoying after 4-5 tracks & he overdoes it with that annoying ass "powder" ad-lib. Dudes nothing special, but has some solid tracks on each mixtape. Like so many said, he just doesn't stand out & it just seems very recycled. I fukked with that "New York City" track heavy tho.

White Christmas 2 is the last tape I heard that I didn't skip a song.

It's the first work I've heard of him, he's up there

Nah, more black kids crew up in the burbs, or want to be from the burbs. Its more of a generational thing than an economical issue. Even black kids from the hood wear tight clothes and talk about swag more than about being a super thug.
