Is Troy Ave doing fed time? If so, then he doesn't have as much to worry about, since he can be placed anywhere across the continent. It would be worst for him if he was going upstate.
Yes, if he wasn't legally able to possess one. His mistake was running from the venue, had he stood there cops would have never found those guns.

Word is… Tax was the one carrying during the altercation. He was minding his business, Troy and his guy approached Tax and he fired off in self-defense.
Troy’s guy got hit and died. After a scuffle with Tax, Troy took Tax’s gun and chased after him while firing into a crowd of people.

Young Lito already spoke on this with Star. He said he went to check on Troy after the shooting and Troy's lawyer was there. They told Lito not to worry and he'd only get probation. He asked for what and they said the gun. They already had it worked out for him to eat the charge and lied to try and manipulate him to go with the plan. Gun possession is a mandatory 3 years. They're not giving you probation.
If the gun isn't yours why are you trying to trick your so called man into doing 3 years?
