He sounds like a young guy so I doubt he owns the truck.
Tough tough job. My uncle who's in his 60s was driving a truck for much of the last couple decades. He owned his truck though and he made $200k a year and would write off his repairs, maintenance, gas, etc.
Call roadside assistance and sit back until they arrive. What exactly is he stressing over? Dispatch will update the receiving company that the load will be late. He’s not expected to fix the flat himself.
Having a meltdown over an inconvenience shows how he handles stress and honestly, he’s not equipped to do anything other than take orders at a fast food joint. Every job has some level of stress. How will he deal with a grumpy partner, moody kids or anything else?
