True Detective Season 1 (NO SPOILERS)

so after 2 episodes you know what's gonna be the "twist"

the way some of yall try so hard to be smartasses is just sad....anyway: where did i say i knew the twist? what i said was that this show is so good so far, that even after it ends and you know the twist, you'd still want to watch it over and over again, just like usual suspects....

i dig rust and marty too, and a rust story showing his exploits before hooking up with marty could be interesting, but i really hope he doesnt try to bring the characters back for more seasons...i like the all in for 1 season vibe, especially for a show like this....no need to try to waterdown characters, plot, etc. so you can stretch it out over multiple seasons, this aint that kind of show...everyone from writers to actors, can go all out, which makes it great....besides, with the 1 and done season shyt, who knows the type of stars he'd be able to pull...i mean: imagine denzel and tom hanks doing a season together....they had great chemistry in philadelpha, and i'd enjoy seeing them work together again....

I don't even know that this show will have a twist. I don't expect/care if it does. As long as they bring the current mystery to a close in a satisfactory manner, that's good enough for me. If they do it in a fashion, even better. But like I said earlier, a show like this is made or broken on how it's mystery is tied up, so I can't really gauge how good the show is after 2 eps.

However, if they bring the titties back then this is top 5 dead or alive regardless of how it ends. Martin and Rust could both be lumberjacks,

when i say twist, i dont mean some major 'it was the governor and they covering up' type shyt, i just mean it doesnt seem to be going the way it's implying...

i do agree with you though on both accounts:

1 - how they tie up the season/investigations is gonna be key to determining how good the show is overall

2 - they show those titties again, it wont matter....that bytch aint got no ass, but her face, that hair, and them titties is enough for a brotha to have a lot of fun with
