I thought Rust was the killer for like 2 episodes. Some of the shyt he pulled with interrogating suspects and interviewing witnesses was too much

Came through in the end though

the lawnmower man was legitimately horrifying

Only reasons I can think of is either Nick pazzolato bought into his own hype and tried to outdo himself by making things more complicated and bigger.Or he had trouble writing the season and just winged it
