True or false: The Warriors overachived before Durant got there.

Simple question.

They were a one superstar team before Durant got there. Klay's a star, but certainly not an elite player you can build around; Draygoon is a super role player. Then they had a bunch of solid role players like Barnes, Iggy, Livingston, Mo Buckets and Bogut.

If you think they overachived, do you think it was because of coaching, Curry playing otherworldly, a combo of both or something else?

Maybe you think Klay IS a superstar and Draygoon is a star and they did exactly what they should have done.

no. curry is a superstar and klay/dray are all-stars with great defense and klay is a great shooter. add iggy with elite defense and some role players here and there and thats more than enough to be a juggernaut in the NBA

KD affected klay wayyy more than curry. Even though curry is/was>klay the gap felt wayyy smaller than it seems to be now. Klay was THAT dude when curry wasn’t on/wasn’t playing (he almost single handedly beat okc in my book). With kd now if anyone is off he can just take over klay kinda lost his role a bit.

edit: overachieved means doing more than you were supposed to, those teams that have that one great year/playoff run (i.e. the magic in the 09 finals), you can't overachieve when you've shown years of consistent growth and getting better.
