Stop. I know nikkas love to hate on Harden, I do too...but dude is a beast. Juggernaut on offense from anywhere on the court and defense improved. We know what Kyrie is capable of.
What I said isn't hating. It's facts

Well yeah on the coli there's some amount of hype or thread for pretty much everyone and thing. There's Waiters stans that have made multiple threads gassing him, etc. But on other sites with specific "who's the future" threads, predictions from places like Bleacher Report, etc. practically no one had Curry as a top 15-20 player, let alone one of the best in the league.

who tha fuq took Bleacher Report serious in 2012 :what: basically had interns and fanboys writing

:dead:

dont take what I am saying as that people thought they would be titlists much less dynasty but there was a good amount of purists that felt they would be contending in the West, then the year Durant got hurt, it was an immediate changing of the guard. either way, I dont see how they overachieved. that is selling their talent way short.

The Clippers had more playoff success than Golden State. Teams generally don't go from first round exit to a championship. OKC with their Big 3 went from first round, to conference finals to losing in the Finals. GS just bypassed everything.

Kyrie was better than everyone on GS besides Curry. Cleveland had a great duo; OKC had a great duo. GS had that singular talent in Curry, but not a second fiddle of a superstar caliber like other teams.

Absolutely nobody had them breaking the wins record or Curry winning one MVP let alone two straight. He'd made a single All-NBA team (second team) up until that point.

shouldnt always look at superstar level talent assembled. what GS did was put together a team of elite level BBIQ players with high level ball skills, passing, and shooting. the cohesiveness was organic and everyone getting significant minutes were good defenders and that made up for Steph's deficiencies.

1ST OFF
GS MADE THE 2ND ROUND IN 2014.
WENT 6 GAMES WITH THE CHAMPION SPURS.

2015 7 GAMES WITH THE CLIPS...

DONT ACT LIKE THIS WAS SOME PELICANS ASS TEAM.

THE SPURS AND CLIPPERS GOT KNOCKED OFF.
OKC DIDNT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.
SO WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BEAT GS IN 2015?

HURT CAVS

EASIEST ROAD TO A TITLE.

You really think Patrick Beverley was the difference between Golden State winning in 5 versus Houston maybe winning in 6 or 7:francis:

OUTSIDE OF OKC IN 2016

WHO DID THEY BEAT
THAT THEY SHOULDNT HAVE?

THEY FACED 2 LEGIT TEAMS
IN 2 YEARS
AND THAT WAS IN THE SAME SEASON
(2016 CAVS & OKC)

LETS NOT OVERRATE THIS RUN
LIKE THEY CLEARLY WERENT
MORE TALENTED THAN ALL THOSE OTHER TEAMS THEY FACED.

On paper, a case could be made for Houston and Portland in 2016. After Curry went down, Houston had a more talented team; Portland too the first three games of that series.

they did somewhat come out of nowhere in 2014-2015 but the cavs would have won that title if Lebron had just one of either Love or Kyrie playing

the 2015-2016 team was a beast but they choked combined with Lebron and Kyire figuring them out

the cavs and warriors were probably equal going into the 2016-2017 matchup with cavs having the slight edge if they never got Durant

I can get with this. By that same token though, should Houston be the favorites this season? They have two superstars (like GS) and a fantastic cast of role players (better than Golden State's).

The 718
.

Deandre Jordan got a shytload of free throws, does that mean he had more of an offensive load than Blake or Jamal Crawford did?
Not even remotely comparable, dude. You're just throwing shyt out without context. DeAndre gets deliberately fouled. Nobody's playing hack-a-KD. KD's getting to the line by creating shots.

IDK why people keep actin as if this current team w/o KD is even comparable to GSW's squad before he came. Like the roster isnt even close to the same.

They had Iggy at his peak for this team, Livingston was automatic from mid, David Lee isnt West level, but he was a mismatch physically for the guys they had to play back in '15. Good secret weapon. Barbosa gave them the ultimate run n gun threat, even with a step gone. Klay was comparable to Steph and they had a bench that wasnt close to paralleled. Id say they shouldve still lost in 15 due to how relatively shyt their stars played, but that roster when on couldnt be touched

salute some of these other franchises for taking advantage of KD scalping their numbers (plus old age) and making the talent parity closer.
