Let’s be honest if they didn’t get kd they was never gonna win a ship again.

Bron literally stole they hearts and they wasn’t gonna be able to recover. Plus being honest Curry took a step back after that injury in the 2016 playoff and haven’t been the same player since.

If they don’t get kd what are they option? Resigning Barnes? Looking for another starting sf? Starting iggy and hurting they bench?
He hasn't been the same player? That's cause he sharin da ball wit KD so he ain't able to do the things he did in previous years.

Other than da nikka completely fukkin up da league gettin cheap jewelry KD has somehow made Steph Curry underrated(which I didn't think was ever possible). KD wouldn't have been in either of these last 2 Finals without Steph so I don't understand the love affair wit dis bytch nikka.

yeah these people not watching games. Curry is more than capable of doing what he did pre playoff injury in 2016. Did they see what he was like when Durant went down this year? :what:

Absolutely

Deez nikkas just hype up KD and overstate his importance cause they feel that somebody has to be LeBron's adversary when in actuality there is none.

It's Bron

then

Steph

then the rest of the league.

2016 Spurs Roster was more talented and nobody calls them a Super Team

Was 2016 Warriors a Good team with a Great Player (Curry) or Super Team?
More talented :gucci:

The only elite player on that team was Kawhi. LMA struggled all year, Duncan/Parker/Ginobli were all washed. They had a good regular season but that was due to elite coaching, the system and Kawhi. That team was not built to withstand the playoffs and that was evident during the OKC series. The Spurs almost won 50 games this year without Kawhi.

:ohhh: breh I been saying this. It's apparent with how the Bron led Cavs played GS. They trapped Curry with and without the ball. KD was allowed to play one on one pretty much all series, that's not how a Super Star is defended. Never thought I'd be agreeing with a Bron fan, but when you right, you right :ehh:

Simple question. :yeshrug:

They were a one superstar team before Durant got there. Klay's a star, but certainly not an elite player you can build around; Draygoon is a super role player. Then they had a bunch of solid role players like Barnes, Iggy, Livingston, Mo Buckets and Bogut.

If you think they overachived, do you think it was because of coaching, Curry playing otherworldly, a combo of both or something else?

Maybe you think Klay IS a superstar and Draygoon is a star and they did exactly what they should have done.

Discuss.
It's a common theme in dumb coli threads to discuss a team's achievements without discussing their opponents at all. Even though doing so is totally senseless.

WHO did that Warriors team "overachieve" in beating?

In order to overachieve, don't you have to beat someone better than you? Well, who was that?

I don't know how I got through even the OP, not to mention the entire first page, without that being addressed at all.

false

like most I enjoyed the pre-Durant Warriors way more than the present, the Warriors ball movement and fluidity were much more fun to watch, and I'm saying this with zero hate towards KD.

even when kd takes the secondary role Steph still doesn’t look as good. He had his spurts during the season but I don’t think he could sustain that any more. He isn’t close to the driver he user to be.

And being he has kd on the wing instead of Barnes u would think he would be a better driver.

If the warriors didn’t get kd and keep Barnes, and loss bogut like they did bron, kyrie and love would have sonned them again.

Honestly the league was catching up. Without kd they definitely don’t beat the rockets this year.

Regardless of the stats, curry just don’t look as good and he has loss a step which is clear is day with his effectiveness or lack of effectiveness at getting and finishing at the rim.

Still my favorite pg tho. But I’m glad they got kd :yeshrug: I hated seeing bron beat the warriors in the finals

KD ruined what would have been a great rivalry

The Warriors play 4 on 5 on offense because Harrison Barnes can't hit wide open shots, and LeBron calling for Curry's man to screen for him so he can get switched onto Curry is a great rivalry?

KD and Bron are the two best small forwards in the game, how doesn't it get any better than that?

They trapped Curry because he needs a screen to score when he's being guarded by a competent defender, unlike a KD, Kyrie, Harden, etc.. When you invite another defender over by calling for a screen you can't be surprised when you get double-teamed.

And they were doubling KD in the post all series long against the Rockets and he still ended up setting a new record for most points scored in the Western Conference Finals. He's just a different caliber of player.
