The I in Team
In the late 90's and early 2000's, Hip Hop message boards were full of insufferable backpackers who dikk rode this style of rapping and thought
it made them better than everybody else. Them nikkas use to get into text battles and shyt. They hated any artist with fanbase larger than a 1000 people lol. Come into anythread shytting on gunit, dipset, and southern rap in general. fukk them nikkas. Gettin mad and calling Mos Def a sell out because he in movies and shyt. 90% of the music hiphop produced is garbage to them but that aimless, stream of conscious, word salad style was the only thing considered "real" hip hop. These nikkas really were conflating there love for this garbage ass style as a reflection of their overall status and worth as a person, hence the "elitist" and "purist" label they was given.

I remember saying one time them dudes would make beats that sounded like forks falling on the floor. :pachaha:

And they swore it was the hottest shyt ever. What sad pieces of shyt they were.

it was summer of 2004 when I had this on. I had the hat, these wristbands, some olive colored cargo pants, and an oversized black tee.

I was rapping about running from cops though.

If your rhyme matched your fit, you won't be posting on here

Wear metaphysical, hieroglyphics, isosceles hats and rhyme about street shyt brehs

I remember all the drugged out white dudes were all about this kind of shyt. Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Non Phixion, Army of the Pharaohs, and Cage. Some of it was actually pretty good.

Canibus used to drop some of these types of bars

He had serious heat back in the day tho
Canibus had bars for days. Ridiculous technical battle rapper. He couldn't keep a narrative to save his life, though. :francis: nikka sounded like a walking thesaurus with a massive inferiority complex.

:mjlol: That niche of rap is corny as fukk :russ:
Id take that over this mumble rap bs anyday. Atleast its real lyrical hip-hop.
Idk why people who wear those hats think it's a good idea
I remember rocking one of these hats with a blazer, a button up, some faded jeans, and some white leather adidas forum los. This was 2004.

This reminds me of why I had to stop posting on UGHH.com in 2006.

You described 75%-85% of that forum.
