In the 2020 U.S. election, turnout among people earning over $100,000/year was around 80%, compared to about 50% for those earning under $30,000/year.

Most people on Section 8 are working. They work jobs that don’t pay enough for them to not be on Section 8.

When part of your jobs onboarding is showing you how to apply for government benefits, then that’s a problem with the structure of the society itself, not the individual.

Alot of them do that on purpose. You been on Section 8 for 10 years and you been working at Popeyes the whole time? Not even trying to do better:stopitslime:

Also illegals use anchor baby loophole to take up spots on section 8 since they don't qualify, they put the documents in the name of their kids.

Somthing need to happen so instead of the dems figuring it out thoughtfully, they ignored the problem. He cames Trump ripping the bandage off. I know people who been on section 8 their entire lives and I know people who been on the section 8 list for years waiting for housing.

The waiting list is also part of the problem. Some people are afraid that if they get of the list after getting a job and fall on hard times that lifeline will not be there or they will have to wait for years to get back on it.
There has to be a process to streamline this stuff and in my opinion the generational YOUNG people on section 8 are the ones who have to be given an ultimatum. They have time to learn a skill, trade or go to college.

Ok, it’s fun to throw out Popeyes and think it’s funny but let’s extrapolate that.

Think of all the retail and food service businesses that are operating now. I’m talking every Wal-Mart, Target, Starbucks, etc……

That’s a lot of people. And you think it’s responsible policy to tell all those people that within 2 years they need to find a better paying job so more poor people can cycle in for the next 2 years.

Are there enough better paying jobs for all those people to move into every year? :usure:

Why have you put the onus on the individual and not the business exploiting your tax dollars? :jbhmm:

The thing people aren’t really peeping is he’s probably going to shut down HUD before he is out of office. It fits exactly with him attacking anything he thinks benefit ps black people regardless if it also benefits white people.
Yeah it feels like they accelerating shyt in case Trump dies or something else happens.

But it’s clear they want harder boots on necks for nikkas.

What about the "Working Poor"? Those who work 40 hours a week but still can't afford rent? Tf are they supposed to do?

So many in here are on their high horses when the reality is not everyone on Section 8 is scamming or lazy
