Personally I think ignoring the "actors" is foolish when their base motives and worldview are antithetical to your own and you know it.


I'm for universal healthcare and legalizing marijuana...but I wouldn't support or vote for a klan member (or even consider it) just because he said he was also for those things. But maybe that's a weird view, I dunno.



Maybe I'm just being idealistic and "don't be an open racist" is too high of an expectation for politicians in 2018.
