As a veteran I agree that it shouldn't have been allowed in the first place. Gays openly serving wasn't a problem (there were a few gay and lesbian Marines we ALL knew were gay during DADT but nobody gave them flack for it).

Outside of non work hours when would sexuality ever need to come up, where folks need to publically idenfity who they enjoy sleeping with?

If someone is being targeted for their sexuality and mistreated that is an issue, but outside of that I dont get how or why anyone put out who they sleep with.
