Honestly at this rate it's a slam dunk if you're running in 2028 to undo everything this piece of shyt did and introduce new privacy and data protection laws.

This a$$hole and musk have stolen millions of people's data to use. An agency should be created to get that data back, compensate everyone who was stolen from, and put in new rules to protect American data going forward.

A lot of damage can and will be done in these four years. These tech oligarchs want to create something worse than a fascist autocracy. They want a society in which they are in COMPLETE domination with no obligation to the will of the people. It's really uncharted territory. As horrible as traditional autocracies are, they are at least somewhat responsive to the will of the people. Historically it was always been the case that if enough people get angry a regime could be toppled.

However, with A.I. enhanced surveillance, drones, widespread A.I. slop distorting our perception of what's factual and what isn't, this is vastly different. This could very well destroy human civilization as we have known it. And ironically this could create 'stable' society in which we are dominated by a few oligarchs and their weaponized tech in perpetuity. There would be no uprisings and revolutions. And you can forget about democracy and the ability to vote your way out of this.
