You trust Trump administration officials? This is likely them muddying the water again. You had Giuliani admit to this. For all you know officially only Trump and Giuliani were directly related to the investigation and this was someone who through their own job was informed Rudy was in the Ukraine demanding they pull a Comey so they could paint Biden as the same corrupt as Trump.

You could be right but direct knowledge of the communications can simply mean while they knew Rudy was sent there to do this. They didn’t have direct knowledge of what was said or to whom. Trump learned since becoming president not to create paper trails.

I agree that "not having direct knowledge" could mean a number of things. I think we'll learn more about this soon. I even think we'll learn the whistle blower's identity.
