Dems should have contempt hearings this week. I don't even want informational hearings. Just get straight to it. And file articles of impeachment by the end of the month.
I'm having a hard time understanding the type of voter Pelosi is scared to death of upsetting. Are there people really out there who would be more inclined to vote for Trump if the Dems actually do their job and impeach? These people don't exist.

The New Deal was discriminatory, but all of life was discriminatory at that point. There were still literally millions of Black people helped out by the New Deal.

But yes blacks, many, were helped by the New Deal. That's how black people started to vote Democrat. Northern blacks probably got a better opportunities than Southern blacks though.
This is like when a woman or man tries to keep a partner that wants out of a relationship.
At the end of the day they leave anyway.
Anyone who sees the impeachment proceedings as an injustice to Trump was always a Trump supporter.

I get it to a degree.
Not voting for Trump isn’t the same as not voting for a Republican to the House or Senate. A Dem President with a Republican Congress is toothless.
There isn’t an Obama wave where millions of voters are coming out who never voted.
Gerrymandering has made a bunch of states non-competitive. But she’s in the long term tarnishing the party as weak and not willing to stand up and project strength.
But she’ll be dead or out of politics by then so she doesn’t care.
