He isn't in control, it's the corporations. Boeing, Lockheed, Martin, Raytheon etc. Get government subsidies which slash their business costs. Those government subsidies are your tax dollars. Your tax money pays to make it so that the executives can get bigger paychecks since they aren't spending as much of the company's money on product development.
Then after they develop the product, the government gives them more of your money by buying those weapons and ammunition. Then the surplus gets sent over fo Israel. The only people winning here are these companies as they collect your tax money and stay rich. Israel is the best customer because they are guaranteed to always be at war. Its the equivalent of owning a gun shop and you have a wealthy customer who can only feel three things:
1. Fear
2. Anger
3. Suspicion
Banks help funnel the money through and benefit from the executives who use their Raytheon, Boeing, etc. Stock as collateral and get loans they can live off of. They know that the government will also NEVER let these businesses fail, because they ARE America's defense system. So they can be as reckless and irresponsible with their own spending as possible.
I doubt that's the case though and I think they use at least a decent amount of the cash they get from the bank loans to invest in other companies, generate dividends from those investments and then use the dividends to pay off their loans.
This shyt runs very deep. The only way out of this is if the tax base collapses. Congress is compromised because most of them are getting aipac money and some have money in the defense business whether they know it(direct investments) or not(they have investments in mutual funds or ETFs where fractions of Raytheon, Boeing, etc. Stock are included)
Fortunately(or really unfortunately for YOU) the tax base is shrinking every year as unemployment continues to increase while companies keep downsizing and trying to use automation, outsourcing, immigration and a.i. to cut costs. People are dying from preventable disease too which means 401ks and investments are being cashed out to pay for funerals and legal fees. This shyt is a massive mansion, but instead of bricks it's built with cards. Each year a few pieces fall. Eventually the whole thing will collapse if we don't get a political movement going that focuses on slowly replacing those cards with bricks.

So as previously posited, America basically chose the worst of all regimes to put in place for an issue that we weren't going to be able to stop without damn near using military intervention ourselves. There is no way to sell it in 2025. If he's not listening to Trump who is making public calls to stop, why did we throw democracy in the bushes for that bullshyt?
