So they'll shyt on you, ask what Trump's done in 30 days yet can't cite what Obama's done in 8 years to help HBCU's. Most HBCU presidents will tell you it's been a mixed bag from Obama. And if they're able to get Trump to do something this early in his presidency that they couldn't get Obama to do in two terms, then we're off to a good start.

Black folk need to wake the fukk up. We're in a different dynamic. Obama treated us like he had us in his back pocket, Trump, so far, is treating us like he needs to earn our support. And he has Congress behind him right now, we gotta be tryna get all that we can. You work with the President of the US because he's the President of the US, regardless of how you feel about his viewpoints on other issues. We have to stop calling people working with him c00ns. When's the last time you cut your school a check? HBCUs are closing left and right because alumni like you don't give back.

Alumni, states cheating out they money and blacks don't donate to them.

Decades ago black folks who didn't even go to college donated to HBCUs. They made a concerted effort to donate to these schools even if they didn't even go to them.

Same as the UNCF. There were black folks who never set foot on a college who donated to UNCF.
