Trump is a con man, bullshyt artist, and a pig. He has a history of racism against black folks. He loves to bring people to him and have them kiss the rings. Keep hoping on a 70 year old white man to change his stripes and give us some crumbs out of the kindness of his heart. I say this as a HBCU Alum

So what would have been the correct course of action for these HBCU pres's when Trump summoned them to the WH to address something they couldn't get the last pres to address in your mind?
And this ain't got shyt to do with the "kindness of his heart", this is politics, so miss me with that bullshyt.
The ONLY reason that Trump is even dabbling with this HBCU stuff is because Omarosa said Obama didn't do shyt for them. He used them for a photo op. And the EO will lack any true economic empowerment.
Plus this was spun as propaganda for Betsy Devos and her charter schools bullshyt.
As for your summoned question, when you are asked to go to the WH, you go. My ire is not directed at the HBCU presidents, its the "Awe shucks give him a chance!" sentiments by some on this board towards Trump.

As long as you ain't calling the HBCU pres's c00ns for doing their jobs and making their asks of this administration, then I have no qualms with you.
I don't really care who takes a 'wait and see' approach to Trump and who takes a 'he is who is we think he is' approach on the internet, cuz that's all irrelevant...he's the POTUS regardless. I just expect those who need to work with the federal government as a matter of their position to continue to do so regardless of their stance. Especially HBCU presidents, given the current state of HBCUs (and I, too, say this as an HBCU alum)
