I been saying this and will keep saying this. The wealthy don’t care about any of Mamdani’s proposal being socialist or not. They only care because he said he is going to tax them. If Mamdani said “we’re going to sell city backed bonds to fund my ideas for the betterment of regular new yorkers” the whole fukking party would be endorsing him and glazing him like he was the future of the party.
Instead he said “I want to increase the corporate and millionaire tax“ and you got fukking Donald Trump calling democratic candidates trying to figure out how he can help out.
