To me it comes off as him basically saying the other countries are not testing that's why their numbers are lower. I fully expect him to say other countries are lying about their numbers any day now. Either way he botched everything when he could have listened and been the hero he wishes he was.

Yet he chooses to believe certain death rates on the sheets of paper he had in the interview. South Korea got low death numbers so he throws out doubt that those numbers are real because they make him look bad and reflect his ineptitude.

I've never seen it like this tho in politics. Even with white males in power in America there was more of an expectation of accountability when presented with facts on camera.
