Trump from day one downplayed the existence or seriousness of covid. For some bizarre reason he didnt take it seriously enough either because of his short attention span, lack of brains, lack of foresight and huge fragile ego.
He somehow thought it was all a 'hoax' to make him look bad and since he cannot admit mistakes or correct himself we have been playing a dangerous game trying to get him to commit to doing what the medical pros suggest.
