It’s funny but it’s also terrifying b/c his incompetence shows the extent of American stupidity.
Many, even with these obvious egregious fukk ups, dismantling of constitutional rights, just outright lies on top of lies, bungling of covid, millions of dollars lost and diverted to his own pockets, corruption, STILL won’t take a look at these authoritarian policies and say “damn, I fukked up believing this goofy shyt”. Trump isn’t some anomaly. He is actually the EMBODIMENT the platform that has always been touted by American political conservatives. He’s not acting outside of his political platform. He is FULFILLING IT.
Neotraditionalism, trickledown economics, anti-blk, anti-female, anti anything not white, steal from the poor-give to the rich, dismantle public education, divert funds to private schools, only want no government interference when it comes to helping the populace, but is perfectly fine with TOTAL big government when it comes to fascist totalitarianism police state enforcement of white supremacy, voter suppression, deny environmental issues so the rich can continue to become richer.
Trump is what conservatism has ALWAYS been about in this country. He is the fulfillment of that political spectrum. Go any further in that direction and you get Nazi Germany, which ironically got many of its policies from us in the first place.
He shouldn’t scare you. The powers that be and the American stupidity that got us to this point is what should terrify you. If it’s possible to misinform Americans to the extent that the leader of the free world can be this much of a parody IN OFFICE, something is very wrong in a way that is a culmination of the corruption in our government.
