Last i heard there's like 6 million vacant houses in the US.

Edit: this number varies greatly depending on the source and what they consider "vacant." There's much higher estimates then this.
uh. thats in direct conflict with the 200,000 families waiting for these apartmemtns

Not really for 2 reasons. First the existence of homeless people doesn't negate the existence of vacant houses. If the people that need housing can't afford the housing that's available it creates the seeming paradox that you see in reality. Second reason is that just because someone is on a waiting list doesn't mean they aren't currently housed. There are people living in public housing units with their family that are also on the waiting list to get their own assistance. There are people that know they don't qualify for assistance who apply just because the waiting list is open and there are people who needed help when they applied but are no longer in need of assistance. So that 200,000 family waiting list is in reality much shorter.

I don't see the problem. As long as they work just as hard, if not harder, to get citizens in as they want to keep illegal immigrants out.

Uhh...why are undocumented aliens getting public housing in the first place? Can't this lead to a security threat? Everyone doesn't have good intentions, you know :usure::martin:

Ok when did you become a hostile parody of yourself?
you know what, i'm in the wrong. let non-citizens get on the list over citizens :yeshrug: that makes a lotta fukkin sense. keep that energy up until the 2020 election too, and run on it

And this is what the 1% do
Throw out some sensationalist stats about immigrants taking all the shytty public housing that are usually in disrepair and just a level above squat houses while they sit in their 1 of 5 homes, opposite a block of luxury apartments the average working citizen can not afford to live in this remaining unoccupied and the rest of the peasants bicker for the scraps falling off the table.

And it’s the demand for illegal workers to work in their businesses and clean their 5 homes that is attracting these people in the first place.

But TRL idiots and cat mamba fall for the theater of demonizing a group of people.

So @the cac mamba which is it?
  • You want any family with illegal immigrants in them moved to the back?
  • You want any family with illegal immigrants removed from the line completely?
both :ehh: but if i had to pick, the 1st

if people are here illegally, they should rent their own place :yeshrug: not have it subsidized by the government. and not in the most crowded fukkin place in the country

We're still talking about this despite the article saying illegal don't qualify
no, the article says this

About 32,000 households that get federal housing assistance are headed by people who aren’t legal U.S. residents, according to a HUD estimate.

Does the article state the percentage of households that represents in the total number of households being assisted throughout the country?
