I had an uncle who used to do something like this. He would always apply pressure with his handshakes when he shook all the male cousin hands to assert his dominance. That worked out for him when we were kids.
But by the time we became teens, the situation turned into a unspoken handshaking feat of strength with him at family get togethers.
He was a very insecure dude now that I think about it.
