Lets be honest. If this was a Democrat y'all would be doing naked feet worship over every word he said here. If Trump creates policies we can benefit from to spite dems, so be it. I could care less how much he likes us or not. Sometimes you gotta use your enemies against each other to create forced situational allies.

This. I wouldn't vote for him but if he does something truly positive for Black folks then more power to him.

The Coli #TrumpSet are worthy of psychological study :ehh:

Seeing as though most of us voted for Obama 1st term as Democrats at one point in our lives, I’d say the “trumpset” has a decent grasp on both sides. We’ve literally had to argue this shyt on our heads and with our families and do the correct research because obviously as a black person it is a huge jump to go against what weve been told to do for the past 60 years.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
The fact the Breh had the largest majority in Congress in recent memory to only push healthcare to pad his legacy just for it to be damn near dismantled one year into the following administration has to hurt them:wow:. Imagine if his main focus was prison reform in 2009. Such a missed opportunity:mjcry:

Maybe it's gonna take another 10 years, but, Obama never intended to do shyt for us.

Trump has an entire political party tryna put him in jail and he's still playing to his racist base.

How come we never got prison reform until now?
So no criminal justice reform happened before Trump? You want to make a bet on that?

I rarely post in these threads because it's a waste of time because you guys always buy into a fundamental fallacy in each thread. If you didn't hear about it, it didn't happen. Perhaps that was the problem with Obama is that they are too modest while Trump has syncophants and shills who work on his behalf like OP to spread propaganda on his behalf if he just says he is doing xyz. Remember the :ohhh::wow: reaction from usual "I like to post about Trump and what he has done but I'd never vote for him :hubie:" set with his HBCU presidents photo op?

Here is a link after a lazy search because constantly having to correct ignoramouses is exhausting. It's also not an exhaustive and complete list.

How come we never got prison reform until now?

It happened under Trump’s presidency, that’s a fact. He signed the bill, that’s a fact. Democrats and republicans come together under him to get it done, that’s a fact.
We have. I mean, there's the fair sentencing act that was signed in 2010 among other reforms.

Wrt this, McConnell blocked it because it would have been seen as a victory for Obama. Why is it so hard for some of you to see what's going on here?

Why the Senate Couldn’t Pass a Crime Bill Both Parties Backed

WASHINGTON — A major criminal-justice overhaul bill seemed destined to be the bipartisan success story of the year, consensus legislation that showed lawmakers could still rise above politics.

Then the election, Donald J. Trump’s demand for “law and order” and a series of other political calculations got in the way.

Senate Republicans divided on the wisdom of reducing federal mandatory minimum sentences. Other Republicans, unhappy that President Obama was reducing hundreds of federal prison sentences on his own, did not want to give him a legacy victory.

...

Mr. Cornyn concedes the tumult of this election year was a major factor given sharp disagreement among Senate Republicans reflected in the decision by Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, to not allow a vote on a proposal most believe would pass easily.

This is the issue.

The issue with Obama was people playing into respectability politics and creating excuses for Obama's lack of racial and class consciousness by stating he had class and dignity. The Republicans and conservatives knew Obama wasn't gonna fight back or galvanize the people and instead act like he is too above it. Obama and his supporters believed that the Republican troll brigade that acted like Obama was a Muslim communist from Indonesia creating death panels was a fringe and insane group, but no, they weren't - they just understood polarization and they had no problem destroying the opposition by acting crazy.

At the end of the day, Obama left the White House \ a multi-millionaire and gets paid half a million to talk to Wall Street bankers, kids running around with rich White boys and Black folks gotta struggle. fukk your dignity and fukk your classiness. I much rather would have a crazy Black man in office like Marion Barry, smoking crack and doing shyt for Black folks like forcing companies to hire a significant amount of Black people if they want a contract with the city and using the government to create jobs for Black people, instead of a "respectable and classy" Black man who gets pushed around like a bytch by White men and says nothing but "The Republicans don't wanna work with me."

Negro Democrats pushed that same bill during Obama's term and Republicans shot it down. They only went along with it to give Trump an easy win. Its all a game to fool the tap dancing negros who don't follow this shyt and it works every damn time.

Its ok to admit that you don't know shyt sometimes breh.

Its so much tap dancing for massa Trump around here for something he had no part in. He sat on his fat ass and signed a bill that passed Congress with a veto proof majority. Meaning it was passing even if he didn't sign it.

I really don't know if nikkas are uninformed or they are trying to recruit for Trump but y'all gots to get smarter. Yall fall for every trick.

Breh just linked it above my post. Republicans let hundreds of thousands of prisoners continue to suffer just to take away an accomplishment from a black man and y'all clowns sittin here cheering

Yeah I thought you were talking about that. But the bills are pretty different so I wasn't sure. I'm confused tho. Is it a bad thing that it passed? Is it only reform if Obama does it? It's just weird that you guys are upset that a bill that was opposed by the opposition is now being championed by that same opposition. That post you wrote could have been a victory lap for you. But you chose to be condescending. Even tho the goal was accomplished. You're to caught up in the CNN vs FOX news hate. To caught up in the divisiveness to understand that you won.

I don't watch CNN or Fox news or any cable news for that. I don't need to be spoon fed like yall.

The point is I'm not bout to suck Trump off for getting the chance to sign a bill that should've been signed two fukking terms ago. But it didn't because the same cacs you keep trying to worship played politics at the stake of nikka's lives. All for what? To diminish a black man's presidency? fukk outta here. Don't get mad at me cause I can see the forest nikka. Next thing you are going to tell me about is Trump and his "lowest african american unemployment ever":stopitslime:
