I THOUGHT SCHOOLS
CAN PAY PLAYERS DIRECTLY NOW?

They can. This thread needs to be closed. Trump will only be president for 2 more years also. This means nothing. The courts already said the kids can be paid. NOTHING WILL CHANGE THAT.

When can this cocksucker start doing things properly from the start.

He’s always issuing executive orders, and it’s always “not sure about the legal ramifications, how it would be enforced, how it would work in practice”. He just loves doing (selling) favors for friends and having his name in media :

It’s like you haven’t been paying attention these past 6 months breh.

Everything you said was correct… except we’re living in borderline dystopian times.

He will just go after the schools that don't obey by what he says. Haven't you been paying attention?
y’all think this has real teeth?

It directs federal agencies to not classify athletes as employees and tries to prevent “pay for play” AKA NIL collectives. The problem with that is it directly goes against recent federal decisions and the president can’t overturn the law by decree. The executive order will be challenged as enforceable in a favorable venue and it will be struck down and end up at the Supreme Court and then we’ll find out if conservative Justice Kavanaugh stands on business. Because he broke all this open when he said the whole model would be illegal anywhere else in America. Basically, it’s just noise that Trump knows probably won’t stand but he gets to look like a hero to some. That’s what he named it Trump saves college sports. But what Saban did was tried to convince Trump to try to stop the inevitable momentum towards athletes being treated like employees.
