This budget along with the GOP tax plan is accelerating an American debt crisis in the next 15-20 years. When interest rates rise its gonna be a bytch. Massive military spending, massive deficits and of course a diminishing tax base. Rome when through the same thing before the crisis of the 3rd century. Only this time there will be no Aurelian and Diocletian to save the day.

It's really troubling. The conservatives have completely turned their back on social issues and infrastructure. A lot of Trump's and his cronies actions are going to set us back for a longtime. A lot of costs are going to balloon and the issues will still have to be dealt with.

It is so fascinating how there is one set of rules for the rich and another for the poor. Time and time again we see corporations get subsidizes, minimize their tax burden and get bailed out by the nanny state whenever the market crashes. For the poor it’s “pull yourself up by the bootstraps”, “the government is the issue”, “don’t depend on government”.
It’s funny how poor whites voted this man into office yet the policies he’s putting forth harm them the most. All because they were convinced by the corporate elite that some boogy man black/brown person was trying to take their jobs. What an incredible world we live in.
