I know, no one gives a shyt about studying the magnetosphere despite it being the top reasons we even exist on earth.
And as far as science/engineering discovery goes it has a really unique Astro dynamic orbit that's a first of it's kind.

She's right. And before Trump got in office they had a pipeline of 2 black colleges pumping engineers into Redstone Arsenal, Alabama A&M and Oakwood College. I've been there twice and the shyt they got there rivals area 51 in terms of technology. They got a shytload of Germans and Asians there too. It's a well-kept secret, along with the TVA dam program right there on the river supplying power to damn near the entire southeast. Not to mention they got an international airport in small ass Huntsville... not really for regular travel but because in the stem world it's a destination spot for engineers and scientists from all over. People just don't know about it.

But money is there to be made. I work for L3 and we are trying to increase its presence. Everybody else has that place on lock though.
150K+ jobs are everywhere down there in all fields.
That's true, I don't know anything for certain, but a lot of the rumored stuff people talk about, they have in Huntsville. The arsenal specifically is a big deal.
