Looking at that chart, black ppl have supported the Democratic candidate even before LBJ and the civil rights bill. Even pre Southern Strategy. That's interesting.....Thank you sir. I think people tend to forget that the majority of wealth in the black community is within the hands of the top 10% and I would be willing to bet you'll find a significant amount of those black republicans in there as well. If that is the case then I would think many of those blacks just simply voted with their economic interests in mind.
