Giuliani and Gingrich are smart enough to know they are toxic...they been around too lon and theyll hurt his message of change..i seriously doubt they are included unless its something like Ambassadorships
No they're not. You're giving them too much credit.Giuliani and Gingrich are smart enough to know they are toxic...they been around too lon and theyll hurt his message of change..i seriously doubt they are included unless its something like Ambassadorships
Ok..then I'm wrong.... Doubt it though. It's been less than a week, nothing substantial besides the first steps in setting up a transition team has occured. I would be more interested in seeing who is on the transition team to actually advise on cabinet positions. I think I heard they kicked New Jersey's governor out and gave the leaderhip of transition team to Pence.
Ruby who??![]()
For Trump, who ran on a pledge to "drain the swamp" of Washington insiders, the transition team is strikingly heavy on those with long political resumes.
In addition, three of Trump's adult children - Don Jr., Eric and Ivanka - are on the transition executive committee, along with Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband. Kushner was an influential adviser in Trump's campaign.

Jeffrey Eisenach, a consultant who has worked for years on behalf of Verizon and other telecommunications clients, is the head of the team that is helping to pick staff members at the Federal Communications Commission.
Michael Catanzaro, a lobbyist whose clients include Devon Energy and Encana Oil and Gas, holds the “energy independence” portfolio.
Michael Torrey, a lobbyist who runs a firm that has earned millions of dollars helping food industry players such as the American Beverage Association and the dairy giant Dean Foods, is helping set up the new team at the Department of Agriculture.
Mr. Trump was swept to power in large part by white working-class voters who responded to his vow to restore the voices of forgotten people, ones drowned out by big business and Wall Street. But in his transition to power, some of the most prominent voices will be those of advisers who come from the same industries for which they are being asked to help set the regulatory groundwork.

Boy @Aelyas en passant has earned the right to be this delusional because his candidate won, but he is abusing said right in this thread.

pretty hard to form opinions when you can't blurt out "but Hillary".He has to fill around 4000 spots within 2 months and many of those positions need knowledge and experience...Odds are some will be filled by people who have worked in previous administrations
People outside the beltway dont know but the mid level bureaucrats are the people who run the administration and you cant replace them all because nobody else knows how to do what they do...the best Trump can do is set the tone that he wont tolerate corruption and incompetence .
