It always bothers me how comfortable kickboxers and Muay Thai fighters are with getting hit. Good boxers have way better defense.

Yeah if you try boxing defense against a Thai fighter you'll get a knee or elbow to the head.
Thai fighters absorb blows. Same with Kyokushin Karate. Literally walking tanks that can take a lot of punishment.

Taking punishment is a horrible game plan for fighting. Of course it’s going to happen but I see it way too much these guy’s barely ever practice defense. Boxing is a lot more technical and advanced
