Yep a Ring door camera will let you know on your phone when someone is several feet from your front door. You'll probably know they are there before they ring the doorbell

Also, if you're expecting a package, you're probably checking that shyt constantly whenever you get a notification to see if it is your package.

also in my state open carry is perfectly legal, the homeowner was within his rights to hold a gun and have it pointed in a safe direction if he wants. If you complaining that he was doing it whilst also yelling at porch pirate. stop being p*ssy. If you concern about thiefs being yelled at by people with guns, stop stealing. I'm not required to perform a safety check and inform them my gun unloaded when i confront somebody
