My mom asked me how do you send an email.... I'm like
Technology moves so fast for them...![]()
My grandpa always thought the internet was some physical thing somewhere and he would always phrase it like "yeah, but where is like...the big bucket where they keep it all? you know, all that stuff has to be somewhere, so where do they keep the bucket?"
dude was a union painter his whole life and couldn't understand anything that wasn't a physical object.![]()
Idk, to me it feels like they just stop caring about it. I'm over here still using PC's, modding files, downloading tons of shyt and installing RAM. But I was always like that, tech is only a mystery once to me, then I start getting nosey and seeing how I can make it better If you're from the 90's email was extremely foreign to everyone not just baby boomers, but kids as well, however some old people are stuck in the "I'm ok without it" phase. I never understand how you could see shyt like smartphones and not be interested.
You know what kills me my mom calls me up and was like I think I should get a Mac...
I'm like you barely know how to send email ma... Cmon stop it, trying to be the cool kid cause your classmate in class told you bout it. You already have a laptop that works fine you don't need a Mac. They're too expensive, I'm trying to talk her outta it. And she was like I don't care...how much they going for. Over a G ma...
that's not so bad..
Me:stop ma. The minute you walk into that apple store your gonna be an easy mark...
My stepmother wants me to fix her computer and set up her surround sound and show her how to use it....
