I gave Brock a 10, but Angle's 02-03 run was unreal. GOAT level. He was doing sh1t that he probably regrets to this day week to week on SD, but it was incredible.

ehh I wouldn't put that anywhere close to Cena/Lesnar, the Shane match although good was just another example of my issues with Kurt as a wrestler

Kurt could do anything, face or heel, and you’d believe it. Dude could go toe to toe with fukking Brock off of his wrestling prowess alone. Like many other posters said, he may not be on the mt Rushmore cuz he wasn’t a transcendent figure, but he was everything you want in a wrestler in peak form.

Overrated. He got carried in his first few years which were also his best.

:what:

Almost everyone around at the time says that he was so freakishly good and took to the business so quickly that he was a ring general two years into his professional career

There is no way on this earth that you watched KOTR 2001 and thought “Shane McMahon is carrying Kurt through this match” fukk outta here

Angle himself said otherwise. Most credit for the KOTR match goes to Al Snow.
