They even gave him a clean win over Triple H. I really don't understand the weird booking that they did with him. Then when they gave him his "mama" as a manager, it was :beli:. That's when it was a wrap.

As for people who can't talk, Swagger being given a World Title run was inexcusable for me. If Swagger could have been given one, Benjamin was more than qualified for one. But we know how it works. :mjpls:

Calm down bro! :whoa:

That was only the Smackdown B-Card/Show belt.:russ:

You know back then that belt was expendable and practically anyone could get it. But they never treated the champ with the same respect as the RAW Champ (Super Cena). As fukked up as this may sound, it never felt like a big achievement when someone won that belt.:mjlol:

Breh, I feel the same way, I like how the way WWE did their hardcore matches in the Ruthless aggression era, it brutal but they still put on good matches. I liked OG ECW though, they did introduce the Lucha Libre style of wrestling to the US, around the same time WCW did too. But man, every time I watch a CZW video I'm like :camby: this dudes getting weed whackers to their chest, getting set on fire, falling onto a table of fukking lightbulbs in front of a bunch of low class hicks all for little pay compared to the Big 3 companies (WWE, TNA, ROH) :beli:

A lot of these are potentially unpopular opinions and not confessions....

- My dad got my the Chyna playboy and the Raw tickets for the HHH return. fukk what anyone says, that reaction was deafening and I lost my voice the next day at school.

- I have shuck'd and jive'd to Koko B Wares theme as a kid.

- I never watched ECW until I moved to New Orleans in 96 and it was on at a decent hour.

- I truly believe if he had a good reason (broken promise/agreement) Punk was absolutely right in leaving. And if he didnt hed probably still be called a bytch and told he should leave.

They didnt use light tubes in ECW and most of the matches they had only had chairs and tables for the most part. New Jack and Sandman were the only ones who used plunder constantly. Everyone else just kinda worked the relaxed rules into their matches. Even Benoit and Malenko used tables there. CZW used to be exactly what you described but even they got wise and changed. Except for the two shows a year that feature death matches.

Had to be there I guess... At the time it was revolutionary. It looked, felt and smelled different.
They were the first company to actually acknowledge the other companies in Promo's/Commentary etc., not on some innuendo shyt like "the other guys" and all that, nah they was straight saying "WCW... WWF" doesnt seem like much now but in 93-94 that was some :lupe: shyt to me as a kid. Dudes really broke the fourth wall there so nonchalantly. You didn't know what was real and what wasn't.

The move sets were crazy... "Total Elimination" :mindblown:

The Sandman doing a leg drop from the top of a ladder in 93!!! :ahh:

First time seeing Luchadores!!! :damn:

Dean Malenko, 2 Cold Scorpio, Eddie Guerrero with the Mullet!?!?!:lawd: those dudes didn't even use weapons my guy. They just put on classic displays of wrestling so your post is kinda null and void.

Paul E. molded so many that would come in and change the tide in both feds WCW/WWF... Austin, Foley.

In ECW you had the blueprint for which the next 10 years of wrestling would be built. This is all in the first 2 years of it's existence.

Not to mention it basically created the entire smark/mark crowd that bytches about wrestling now. All these indie shows u go to, they are all emulating that OG ECW crowd. The crowd was a character on the show damn near.

:rudy: ECW was the shyt nikka.

Since im here might as well confess.

1. I got back into wrestling because of CM Punk, I think he's the GOAT. He's like the chosen one to me. He could work any era and look good. He's a student of the game, excellent in the ring against ANYBODY, and goes between Heel and Face effortlessly. He respects the OG's, still will throw a Cesaro shirt on and make Undertaker look good. Plus he fukks all the bytches. He's the best all around wrestler ever. Who wouldn't you want to see him wrestle from ANY ERA, ANY FED? Him and 80's Hogan woulda been classic, Him and 80's Flair classic, Him and 90's/2000's Shawn classic, Him and 90's Bret classic, Him and 80's Savage classic... he just works any time frame u place him in. Chosen one.

2. I don't get the Roman Reigns hype, nikkas trash honestly. Sucks in the ring and on the mic... what else is there to see? nikkas just gay for him, shyt is creepy actually. Because behind all these jokes and memes and shyt u see MEN making about him there is some real homoeroticy going on. let that sink in.

3. While on the subject of this era... I dont see all this supposed talent, that the E is flooded with now, maybe im jaded cuz i been watching wrestling since the 80's. Nobody on this roster has "it" to me with the exception of Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, sometimes Bray but they fukking that alllllll up... As far as being a real Heavyweight champ with longevity and legacy. Big E? :stopitslime:really that guy sucks... Sami Zayn, Bo, Adrian Neville, they all can wrestle but none of the have the Charisma of say a Magnum T.A., you just looked at the man and knew. I will give Reigns that, he is oozing with charisma. nikkas a rock star, so I root for him based off of that alone. But other than that I don't see how the E is "stacked for years to come" these nikkas aint compelling. You can change the channel on these nikkas. You werent changing the channel during a Mick Foley promo, you werent changing the channel during Road Warriors promo. They made you believe. These new nikkas just do flips and shyt. That's nothin.

4. DBry low key corny. Everybody know's it in their heart. Just wont admit it. Need something to root for i suppose... :yeshrug:

5. Loved Bret Hart as a kid, can't stand the sight of him now. nikka seems like he thinks wrestling is real or some shyt. Shut the fukk up.

6. Wrestling in general needs to ditch authority figures. Let them boys cook like back in the day. We dont need Commissioners, and GM's and shyt, let the storys work themselves like the 80's... Hulk Hogan aint have to leg drop Jack Tunney to get over.

I never liked edge cris Benoit
I thought Eddie gurrero and Jericho were watered down in the wwe.
When Rey mysterio won the tittle I was very close to quitting wrestling for good...
If it was not for the raw after mania 28 I would have been done with wrestling.

Hogans inability to wrestle and no selling exposed the business to me, I knew if a guy like him was winning all the time then it had to be scripted..

No one should be allowed to do a spear or any other finishing move without being trained by the original move creator..

TSC favorites zack Ryder, dolph Ziegler (he is ok), Shelton bengimin, Damien sandow, etc.. Are terrible characters, and have boring or uninteresting personalities, they are where they belong on the roster.. Wwe from 93-fall 97 was the worst if not just as bad as 05-2012

- Undertaker was at his best as the American Bad Ass
- I don't see Bray Wyatt being anything bigger than what he is right now
- I still patiently wait for a CM Punk return
- Vince McMahon needs to be on TV in a regular role
- I own too much wrestling apparel as a grown man :patrice:

i gotta keep it real, *holds up right hand* :to:

i was a bootyman stan back in 96

los guerroros, Lie! Cheat! Steal! phrase played a huge part in my life. from graduating college and even getting a job and moving up in the corporate ladder, i've lived the very meaning of that phrase :manny:

after watching jt smith in the fbi in ecw and thinking he was really a full blooded italian, i used to want to be full blooded italian :snoop:

i was a big time WOW fan and thought they was going to succeed. *remembers, beckys the farmers daughter, slam dunk (lisa leslie ripoff), the disciplinarian (total ripoff of dean douglas gimmick), etc :dead: *

i was scared to go in any and all woods because of what happedn to hogan when he found himself in the taskmaster/dungeon of doom lair.

i still want a pair of sabu pants before i die.

Brian Danielson has been and always was the best in the E since 2011. He's beyond passable or good on the mic...he's as legitimate as Austin in the context that he speaks real shyt and doesn't have to gimmick it up. The Yes portion is just something the fans went with because he was so good as heel. It's not surprising to see so many jealous that he got that shyt so over. Burns the soul...like a famous 2001 song.

CM Punk would of been taken out back and shot behind a shed during the Attitude Era. His 4th wall promos would of been slaughtered and massacred by Austin, Rock, Jericho, and prime Jake. Wouldn't have been more than a transitional IC champion when real money was made and fans were into money promos. Imagine this goofball saying "This where I talk them into the building"....haha. Killed his own heat just like that.

Barrett has been that nygga for 4 years. The booking in the E which made a buffoon of Booker, Goldberg, Steiner, Shelton, Hardy, Edge, MVP, Kingston, Hakushi, etc....that was his detriment. Should of been champion long ago..especially since his 2010 PPV numbers trounced the Punk push a year later. Always had the mic skills and was short changed on having the same match opportunities Blandy/Cena/Batista/Michaels/Punk all got.

Bret Hart is right about Cripple H

ECW wasn't jack shyt

Foley is a joke performer

There is no Michaels performance that is better than Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero 's 5 star classic from Halloween Havoc.

There isn't a wrestler that can touch Kana in the ring in the WWE except Bryan, Rollins, and Regal.

Huge D-Generation X fan back in the late 90s/early 00s but hated when they brought it back as :flabbynsick: DX with HHH/HBK
Never been a fan of Batista really, he was always overrated to me :yeshrug:

Y2J is a legend has always been better to me on the mic and in the ring than Austin/Rock although I respect those 2 and they're both obviously legends

WWF has always been better than WCW imo although I'll admit my bias because I got into WWF a couple years before I knew of WCW

I used to think Morrison had next :sadcam: I saw him climbing the ranks and being very over with his moveset and looks(pause) I considered him the next HBK :snoop::mjlol:

Eddie G was one of the E's top guys and he was always one of my all time favorites

Chris Benoit was overrated imo

The only black female I've found attractive in wrestling period is Cody's wife and the first time I beat my shyt was to Trish Stratus :noah:

As I get older, I appreciate hogan and Cena a lot more and appreciate their roles in rasslin history.

I think flairs match at WM 24 was his best.

Hbk vs diesel at In your house was a 5 star match.

Scott hall is overrated. hbk made him.

And also, honestly. ........ Bret and Owen were both boring. I'd pick Owen over bret.

When I was a kid, I thought Glacier was the shyt. I was heavy into videogames, so Mortal Kombat style guys did intrigue me.

I remember one time I was wrasslin with my cousin and I threw out a Mortal Kombat sweep kick and dropped him hard. He was almost in tears like "Thats not a wrestling move!" :damn:

I was like, "Glacier does it!" :manny:
