Watching back the first ever WWE Draft from March 2002

Ric Flair representing Raw
Vince McMahon representing Smackdown

The memories. I got this on VHS somewhere in the closet

:mjcry:

Probably wont if they haven't by now

Might as well suck it up and get a Roku like I did

Glad I did because I use it all the time not only for the network

Whats the best roku to buy?

The newer roku 2 is what I got

The 4 wasn't out yet when I got mine but the dude that worked there said it had the same insides as the 3 only difference was the 3 had a better remote and the 2 was like 20 bucks cheaper

No bullshyt, during that time I felt like Fandago was going to be a dope mid-card heel based on the reactions he was getting and then beating Jericho in his debut. The wheels fell off after that.
Should've been, another character they fukked up on

Ric Flair is the most blatant blader of all time, but I'm conflicted on if Austin or Dusty should be in second place.

Classic case of "theme/entrance/chant is over" instead of the wrestler.

Dude has managed to flip an ironic crowd reaction at a post-WM Raw into a multi-year career though...:ehh:

Well this was before crowds were singing his theme or doing the little dance. There was a point where he would come out and troll the crowd and then refuse to wrestle if they say his name wrong. I don't think the song caught on like that until the Raw after Wrestlemania

Meng/Benoit had a rematch the next month that was just as violent and brutal. Benoit got the BUSINESS from Meng and Barb on multiple occasions.

I went to a Raw where he did this for a Brodus Clay match and the whole crowd was like "the fukking guy is lame as fukk". Like, audible groans even in the cheap seats.

It also featured this

>; included an in-ring segment of the Highlight Reel in which Chris Jericho introduced Mike Mizanin, with the two discussing 'The Marine 3;' moments later, WWE IC Champion Wade Barrett interrupted and showed a clip of 'Dead Man Down,' adding that was a real movie; Miz then said it was only a matter of time before Barrett lost his belt, with Barrett and Jericho then coming face to face; after Jericho noted he was a 9-time IC champion and could go for 10, Brad Maddox appeared at the entrance stage and, as Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler talked over him and said it was the worst segment in the history of Raw, said Barrett would defend the next week against the winner of Miz vs. Jericho;

I refused to go to a WWE show ever again after that, yet I caved in the night after Survivor Series 2014 because what kind of company wouldn't have Sting show up on Raw the night after he debuted at a PPV?

Just watched RVD versus Jerry Lynn from ECW Hardcore Heaven 99' this morning and :whoo:

RVD in his prime was sooooo good. One of the best in the business imo. I put this match up against any match WWE put on in 99'.

WWF Wrestlemania 8

Wrestlemania 8 sucked. Flair/Savage is okay, but they had much better matches in WCW. I'm really surprised at how often it is called one of the best WM matches. It's not even the best Flair/Savage match. It's just a normal match for them. Piper/Bret is great, one of only two singles matches Piper had that were worth a shyt (the other being the chain match with Greg Valentine). 7 is a much better show, and despite it being in an arena, it feels bigger and more important than anything on a dome show.

I can't figure out why 7 has such a bad rap, but 8 is usually talked about as one of the better ones before 17. 8 is outright bad outside of 2 matches.
