Money in the Bank should be joint ppv. And if they don't want to have 2 briefcases, then just have people from both brands in the 1 MITB match and allow the winner to use it for either title. The Wrestling Observer reported that next year's WWE Elimination Chamber PPV will be a RAW-only event. The PPV is scheduled for February 12, 2017, and it will be held at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Conversely, Fastlane 2017 will be a Smackdown event, and it will be held on March 5 at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Also, WWE is now 18 PPV events throughout 2017, although it is said to be behind-the-scenes talk in the company of wanting to cut it down to 16 next year.
Furthermore, the original plans were that Extreme Rules and Money in the Bank would be Smackdown events in 2017, though those plans could change. For now, though, it is confirmed that Elimination Chamber will be a Raw show and Fastlane will be Smackdown one.
