From a fukkery point of view I'd like to see those first few episodes of Shotgun Saturday Night when they were taking place in bars, train stations etc. Definitely a precursor to the attitude era.

Rewatching mania xx and Goldberg / Brock

Goldberg was MAD AS fukk at Brock for getting mentally out of the beginning of the match..."ahh fukk THESE PHONY PEOPLE, LETS fukkING GO"

"Ah fukk IT"

Lesnar snaps out if it, still stalls...

AUSTIN CHANT STARTS. Austin with the "

I hated this crowd...

Two lockups to show equal strength....THIS MATCH SUCKS chants

Shoulder blocks to do it again and another nose to nose...a double shoulder tackle....to do it again....I forgot how bad the crowd hated this match.

Jesus...I forgot how strong Goldberg was...dude military pressed a flat-footed Brock and power slammed him from his shoulders...and a random Goldberg sucks chants :laff:

Well f*** you too....haha...I was there live and those chants were fun as hell..I was yelling my ass off

Summer of Punk is trash and y'all know it. Even the pipe bomb ain't shyt, considering it made absolutely no sense.

Dude who was a big indie star who got to keep his name and gimmick, got a heavily hyped debut, was made a face of a brand, was the World Champion 2 years in, won MITB TWICE in a row, cashed in AGAIN, headlined multiple PPVs, and got two stables was held down by THE MAN. Then you get to the voice of the voiceless bullshyt, when both the Punk character and the man's entire point was he wanted more money for himself. He wanted to be on the cups, on the ice cream, on the everything. He wanted his name exploited MORE for financial gain. He didn't give a fukk about the rest of the roster, and again, that's both on and off screen.

Never mind the booking had him back and giggling with HHH a few weeks later while he wore HHH's blazer that was 2 sizes too big because Punk wouldn't lift some fukking weights. The actual message being sent out in those Punk promos were almost the opposite of what WWE and he portrayed them as.

Yup. And what's worse, the biggest bullshyt about punks exodus:

He thought he was too important to work with THE fukkING UNDERTAKER at WrestleMania. The ROCK AT ROYAL RUMBLE, and HHH at mania. Are you out of your fukking mind. That is a wrestler BUCKET LIST.

That wasn't his complaint. His complaint was putting them over and then them leaving the next day while he's still there working a full time schedule. Made every bit of sense in the world.

Sure, if it was like...Santino coming in for a nostalgia run or something. Not two god tier legends in WWE and a top 15 dude in company history. His real complaint was that he didn't get to be in the final match of the show, despite his matches being called main events. Dude was a straight up mark for being the REAL main event.

Sounds like what others would call being a mark for yourself. Hogan/Rock didn't go on last at WM 18. It was the main event. Taker/HBK didn't go on last at WM 25. It was the main event. Tons of shows in the 60s-70s-80s had the main event on in the middle of the show so the top guys could get out of town earlier. Punk is a straight up mark.

Punk was straight up being a bytch about things anyone else in the industry would kill for. Dude probably thought having a title really meant he was the best, too.

But they put in 20+ years in the business and are the reason why these stadiums sell out :manny:

Shane vs. Undertaker was the only reason they sold as many tickets as they did in Dallas. Before that match was announced, tickets were not selling as well as previous Manias.

You can argue it's creative and Vince's fault why some of these guys aren't as over as the older stars but the fact right now is that the older stars sell these shows.

Oh word? What shows other than Wrestlemania do they "sell"?
