Jake Roberts and Rick Rude must've been geeked up because even the crowd shyt on that match and they would mark out for everything back then

Watching Raw 288. I know a lot of folks today(mostly WWE apologist and smarks) always try to shyt on the Attitude Era. Any mofo that wanna say that this shyt today is better than the Attitude era is lying to their selves. This one episode is more memorable than any Raw in this year combined. Within this episode by itself You had:
Austin hutting down Taker and cracking his head with a Shovel after Taker and Kane shot a fade in the back
The Corporation trying to recruit the Outlaws while beating the dog shyt out of the Brood
HBK Sonning XPac
Debra flashing her goodies
Blackman posing as the Blue Blazer beating Owen Harts ass
Taker and Kane shooting a fair one only for Kane to be chased by the Psychotic Ward
Bossman, Rock and HBK whooping Foley's ass and robbing the Hardcore title(Which lead to JR spazzing)
Mark Henry and Chyna's dinner date(Which was comedy and a bar fight)
Triple H returning from injury
Debut of GILLBERG(as Duane Gill)
The Rock main eventing against AL SNOW and looking good
Stone Cold and Kane kidnapping Paul Bearer(dry snitching on Taker) and stuffing Paul Bearer in a sewer
Then the Extra Attitude era ending had Rock attacking Austin only to eat a Stunner.. Good shyt

So many fukked up finishes just horrible

Pretty much... and I loved that PPV when I was little but gotdamn is it way too long and so many awful finishes. That Roberts/Rude match was before the actual feud kicked off, and that match was trash considering the parties involved.

Savage winning the title and going the 4 rounds, and the Megapowers moment is the only thing I can really say I still enjoy about the show. Battle Royal was memorable for the beginning of Bret's face turn. Dems winning the titles was cool too. Thataboutit.
