Is there any info on why they chose dude love for austins first title feud? Was random back then and even more now watching it back.
Just looking at the top heels at the moment and I'm guessing it was just the lack of options.
Kane = Locked in a feud with Undertaker
HBK = Probably would've feuded with Austin in rematches if he wasn't injured.
HHH = Wasn't ready and was turning face soon.
Rock = Already feuded with Austin just months ago and was in the middle of a successful IC reign while being locked in a feud with Shamrock.
Foley and Funk were done as a tag team and they didn't have anything for Foley to do so why not turn him and feud with Austin
