WWE Co-Presidents Michelle Wilson and George Barrios recently took part in a conference call earlier this week. This was just after WWE’s announcement that SmackDown Livewould be moving to FOX in 2019.
During the call, Wilson teased some new content that could be coming to the WWE Network. It looks like WWE is interested in producing dramas and comedies. Here’s what Wilson had to say (via Fightful):
“Michelle Wilson also hinted that WWE was exploring “scripted content” including comedies and drama”
Wilson also hinted that WWE is interested in more reality TV and documentaries as well. She noted Netflix and Hulu are always on the hunt for more content.
