A lot gets talked about the misuse of Hitman in WCW, but it’s still crazy to me that they treated British Bulldog like a fukking bum. Had him feuding with Mongo and wrestling Barry Darsow on WCW Saturday Night smh. Why not just have him there to be a Arn Anderson type goon for Bret Hart at least?

And speaking of Hart, it looked like he was picking up some steam and getting some good crowd pops while he was teaming with Flair and they were building up to a feud with Hoegan. The announcers kept building the narrative of Bret Hart starting the downfall of the NWO at Starrcade and how Hoegan and Hart have a history of bad blood. They were cutting promos on each other.

Then mysteriously the build up to a feud disappeared and he was feuding with Brian Adams.

Bulldog was so fukking washed up even at the start of his WCW run. Dude was pilled up to the gills and looked like he spent the entire time between Survivor Series and his WCW return doing nothing but drugs. He and Anvil are both lucky to have been hired at all even as a favor to Bret.

Kind of wild how Orton had like 20 matches against Cena & HHH combined & only produced like maybe 4 good matches, but damn near every match he had with Christian was a heater

I remember people being so pissed when they read on the spoilers that Orton won the title 2 days after Christian won but I watched that match that Friday and it was flames that feud revived the World Heavyweight Title imo, led to Henry and Bryan’s runs and then it was right back to irrelevancy for the title after that

It kicked off that Orton/Christian feud that ran all summer and was dope the whole way through...

If it wasn't for the Cena/Punk feud, it woulda been the best thing going that year.
