It doesn't really get mentioned outside of the absurd "Viagra on a pole" match, but Kidman/Shane Douglas is one of the more awful and wtf angles in the dying days of WCW. It's all centered around Torrie leaving Kidman for Shane, and then the next month or two is every week Kidman (the face) trying to beat up Torrie every chance he gets. He even goes so far as to play revenge porn on the tron on TV, while also bringing out her panties to show the crowd, and promising that he made copies for all the boys in the back and a special one for Mark Madden (the fukk?).
All the while, he says every show that he's over Torrie and he dumped her or some shyt, guy is straight up committing crimes every week as the face and to show that it even the audience at the time thought it was bad, when there was a show that had a wcw.com poll of who should be the number one contender to Booker, Kidman came in at 10 of 10 with 1% of the vote. Shane Douglas was ahead of him at 2%.
BTW, Sting was the runaway winner, got taken out (still masked from his burns from GAB 2000) by Goldberg, who then got a title match against Booker. He won via stoppage, but didn't win the title for some reason. Booker demanded a rematch and beat him later in the show after interference from Jeff Jarrett and Commissioner Cat.

Also, sheesh, god damn were both Bret and Lance Storm 100% accurate on their assessment of this country. The current Canadian fukkos are also right but can't bring up all the school shootings and pedo government officials on TV

Actually, the Kidman/Franchise/Torrie angle somehow gets worse:
Kidman ALSO does revenge porn and theft by stealing a Shane/Torrie sex tape where Shane can't get it up. This is what leads to the Viagra on a pole match. At the end of that match, Shane stuffs a ton of Viagra down Kidman's throat. Announcers worry about his heart and warn fans with heart issues to avoid Viagra. However, Kidman then leaves with armfuls of 3rd string Nitro Girls because he's going to have a hard on all night. On Thunder, a debuting Reno (who has made no appearances and isn't named) confronts one of the Nitro Girls (also not named) who is apparently his girlfriend about where she was Monday Night. Shane stooges her off, Reno hits the ring during Kidman's match with Elix Skipper (freshly renamed this show after a suggestion from MI Smooth, after debuting the previous week as Skip Over) to hit the Roll of the Dice for the first time on TV at the behest of Shane Douglas.
Stevie Ray, now full time Thunder commentator, correctly points out that Kidman is the one being a fukking loser and causing all the trouble here because if a woman (YAK) doesn't want to be with you, you gotta move on.
The next week Kidman very seriously and somberly apologizes for his behavior and is going to have a Torrie Wilson appreciation night. This is, of course, a SWERVE, as he plays a home video from 1992 of a very overweight Torrie at her birthday party devouring cake, and then has leaflets of her fat pictures dropped from the rafters. This is extra fukked up because in real life, Torrie developed a serious eating disorder after being bullied for her weight as a child. Kidman also straight up hits Torrie in the face during this before getting a well deserved ass beating from Reno and Shane as the crowd has no idea how they're supposed to react.
