"The plan, by Monroe Nichols, Tulsa's first black mayor, focuses on community redevelopment and does not involve direct payments to descendants or the two remaining survivors of the attack."

Also

"The private charitable trust would be created with a goal to secure $105 million in assets, with most of the funding either secured or committed by June 1, 2026. Although details would be developed over the next year by an executive director and a board of managers, the plan calls for the bulk of the funding, $60 million, to go toward improving buildings and revitalizing the city's north side."

Shyt is just a community revitalization fund.
This is what I thought

Giving direct descendants the money seems complicated and something they are never going to get away with doing for black people.

Cut the check. Hopefully the federal government along with other municipalities follow suit when it comes to paying what’s owed to victims and descendants of slavery and other anti-black atrocities.
Read the details. No one is getting direct compensation.

Brehs, $100 million ain't what it used to be. They are giving 100s of millions to individual professional players. They spend that on constructing 1 hotel building these days.

When they are starting to give reparations, the money is basically turning worthless.

Fully Digital currency is coming soon, a more manipulative version of currency that they can control.

If they didn't do reparations after the Civil War it's never going to happen. It's a impossible task as this point because none of the descendants and other citizens feel like it's their responsibility to pay for something that happened way back then and didn't have anything to do with them...smh

It isn’t, but maybe it still is in Tulsa…

And it’s a start, which is the only silver lining here imo

Agreed with the second part.
