Black politicians are being held hostage by activists with delusional demands who then punish black politicians but then get replaced by conservative non-black politicians who aren’t even persuaded by these losing arguments in the first place.

Reparations is the perfect argument for the opposition to promote knowing that Democrats can’t fully endorse it without losing future political leverage and republicans already hate the idea.

The act offered a formal apology, a fund for public education, and $20,000 redress checks to surviving individuals who had been interned. These folks were not firebombed and murdered.
Don’t even start to discuss German reparations to Jewish survivors…these folks got monthly pension checks amongst a wealth of other dispensations.

There is precedent for direct descendants to be compensated. Hell, they stole Bruce beach from a black family in LA under the guise of eminent domain. LA county had to compensate descendants $20m.
