I really think you have to be misinterpreting the above being possible on a ps pro. for 700 that seems like an insane amoun of optimization. any concrete sources for this? not trying to say you lying I just want to see it cuz if it can do that then its pristine value.

I don't understand tech, but I do know consoles don't run true 4k. I just use that as a talking point because that's the specs on the box.

A $700 - $1200 PC is only marginally better than the Pro. The people I see gaming on budget PCs are playing at 1080p. At that point might as well not waste the time or money going that route.

We'll have to wait on the benchmarks for the new "AI-upscaling" and advanced Ray Tracing.

But we're talking about games that are already optimized for the hardware, so the Pro theoretically would either remove or adjust the fps cap on most of these games.

yea ngl im more on the fence than i thought i would be.

Price not really a problem since I’d put my ps5 towards it, annoyed they didn’t include disk drive.

Will watch the stream when I get home but doesn’t sound like it was great.

Hopefully state of play is a good follow up.

Makes sense. I just don’t see the 200 dollars worth of improvements to justify that cost, but maybe I’ll pick up a GTA6 bundle when it gets released.

for me, I want the best PS5 available and I now can give my sons my base PS5 so they can stop asking. We'll trade in/sell their PS4 Pro and keep it moving.

mufukkin 4080s costing a rack for the GPU itself but JUST BUILD A GAMING PC. shyt is comical. My oldest got a 3090 gaming laptop 2 years ago for Crimmuh. Told that nikka don't ask me for shyt until College at least! (Next Fall). Even then I ain't buying shyt. Use your refund check nikka
