I’ve already addressed this
Yes, in totality, you can say that, but the only reason for that was because mase walked away from the industry
if you compare apples to apples, their first debut/body of work, which came out only a few months apart , mase was much more successful than DMX

AGAIN you're ignoring the fact that mase dropped two duds on his way out. Nobody was checking new mase music when he left.

And sure, Harlem world sold a little bit more than DMX debut, but with alog more promotion.

This nikka isn't bias he's just a professional contrarian. On some legit narcissistic shyt. shyt comes off as attention seeking at this point.

How am I attention seeking, in a thread I forgot about until the other day??

You sure be in your feelings when it comes to your idolatry. 😆

Well, so was MOP. What that mean? What made Pac different is he WASNT just a thug or street ngga. With all due respect to DMX, they were NOT the same. DMX was not an intellectual. His ceiling was nowhere near Pac. Yet DMX went onto become a movie star in his sleep. That tells you al you need to know

Your bias and anti-Pac agenda is showing. Makaveli to this day doesn’t sound anything like normal rap. Beat wise and topic wise. You can’t compare white mans world to anything. The closest is Scarface. And now go look up an interview of Scarface talking about Pac. He was on his own tier

I say all that to say, Pac and Biggie (or DMX, or jay z) were shooting at different baskets. There is nothing they could have done to stop his shine bc they could not in a million years be him. Just like jay z becoming a star was on a completely parrallel track of Will smith becoming a star. Pac was that much different from them.

I have no bias. Youre the one with the agenda that's clouding your judgement to the point where you didnt properly comprehend the OP. 😆 and as far as the DMX thing goes, this is not an all-time debate. The comparison is a fresh, red-hot DMX to a winded 2pac.

MOP has nothing in common with 2pac.

And to act like DMX content is just street chit, is ridiculous. The only edge in depth that 2pac had over DMX was his inherent political activism.

I’ve said over and over he walked away from the industry those last body of work of his were duds only because he lost all interest in making good/great music (was obligated to complete his recording deal)

You don't scare shyt behind a message board ... :russ: The nikkas you been stanning in this board forever used Tupac's whole blueprint to go major or sited him as a influence or not a lot of his shyt and there's nothing your goofy ass can say otherwise to dispute that..

And this just scratching the cotdamn surface.

The rap game was built in Pac’s image for 20 years. Into the Wayne, TI, 50 era. They all had their images changed up to be more like 2pac, so you sound dumb as fukk to think he’d be washed 3 years after going diamond.

I see what the DH in your name stands for.

😆

The Harlem world compilation flopped and it gad nothing to do with bad boy.

You don't want to count the bad boy folliw-up but how about when he came back with another mid album?

:what: …. like how many times I have to say he lost complete interest in the music industry - when that album dropped

even with that said him not dedicating his all into it that compilation album , it still went gold …. :snoop:

Excuses

Maae's entire aesthetic was played out.

You're proving my point, dumbass

No limit went major years before these songs.

Also, none of these were even hits. You can't list any no limit breakthrough hits that were influenced by 2pac.

Inevitably he would have slowed down his music output and acted more.... But we he did drop it would have still been an event. In 2003, a post 9/11 thick of the war album with the potential of Dre, Kanye, & Just Blaze beats would have been epic. He at the LEAST could have delivered something similar to Game's first album which I believe is a classic :yeshrug:
