if you compare apples to apples, their first debut/body of work, which came out only a few months apart , mase was much more successful than DMX

Inevitably he would have slowed down his music output and acted more.... But we he did drop it would have still been an event. In 2003, a post 9/11 thick of the war album with the potential of Dre, Kanye, & Just Blaze beats would have been epic. He at the LEAST could have delivered something similar to Game's first album which I believe is a classic
